Después de un poco mas de cinco años sin presentar ningún álbum nuevo, los Red Hot Chili Peppers han anunciado que lanzarán su nuevo trabajo discográfico el próximo mes de Agosto de este 2011. Este será el décimo disco en la carrera de la banda y se viene con un total de catorce canciones nuevas que realmente prometen, como todos sus trabajos.
El disco saldrá a la venta bajo el titulo de I’m With You, y será el primer álbum con el nuevo guitarrista Josh Klinghoffer, quien se sumó a Red Hot Chili Peppers en el año 2009 tras la partida de John Frusciante. Este nuevo disco llega después de un largo periodo de sequía, el mas largo que ha tenido la banda sin lanzar un disco de estudio, después de presentar el álbum Stadium Arcadium, disco con el cual le fue realmente bien a la banda californiana.
por otro lado, los Red Hot ya tienen definida su gira para presentar el álbum la cual contará con presentaciones en los festivales en Hong Kong, Japón y el Rock In Rió 2011 de Brasil y se extendería hasta el año 2013 según palabras del ingeniero de sonido de la banda, Dave Rat. Ademas, algunos especulan con la visita de Red Hot Chili Peppers a Brasil con la posibilidad de que brinden un show en la Argentina y en algún otro país de América del Sur, lo cual seria muy bien recibido por todos los fans que tiene la banda por estos lados.

El tema solicitado es Don’t Speak de la banda norteamericana No Doubt, una de las canciones mas importantes de la década de los 90.
